Located in downtown Abingdon, Virginia, the Gift Shop at Barter is a part of the Barter Theatre, the State Theatre of Virginia. Barter was founded in 1933 by Robert Porterfield and is as rich in history as the town of Abingdon, itself. The Gift Shop at Barter provides opportunities for our customers to take home a little of that history.
